The Sunbrite Group, founded in 2002, is a member of Lumex, Inc. a division of Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW). Lumex has been a leader in the global solid state lighting field (LEDs) since 1980 excelling in designing, manufacturing and distributing opto- and photo- electronic components, displays and assemblies. As brightness of LEDs reached levels good enough to address many demanding illumination applications, Lumex had the know-how and market exposure to serve those developing markets with Sunbrite. No other market participant had the tenure and expertise to serve these demanding and in many ways undefined applications. These applications and the path to them were also different but the underpinning technology and the supply chains were the same starting all the way back to chip fabrication. Using state-of-the art solid state technology and new innovative "packaging" assembly facilities, many new products came to life addressing needs not served by legacy LED suppliers catering to the world of electronics.

The Sunbrite product family offers many exciting and unique solutions from patented PolyLEDs, Clusters,
Strip-LEDs, High Power lamps and based LED retrofits for incandescent lamps in existing lamp sockets. Gaming, Architectural, Decoration, Signage, Off Road Vehicles, Promotions and Traffic Controls can use LED lighting solutions to advance their reliability, performance and energy usage.
